We do our best to protect children from pain.
Whether you’re a parent, teacher, guidance counsellor or another type of guardian, you know that when a child is your care is hurting, you hurt too. Pain and heartbreak are inevitable when children grieve the death of a loved one or pet, or deal with a divorce, move or change of school. Unfortunately, as caregivers, we’re not always sure how to help them.

If you feel like you’ve tried everything to help a child with grief and it’s simply not working, keep reading. This will be the most important letter you read in 2020.

What if I were to tell you that there’s a healthy way to respond to a child’s grief that will have a positive, lifelong impact?

You can help them escape perpetual sadness

You can teach them how to deal with their                          emotions

You can use a gentle, heart-centred approach

You can be a more effective parent, teacher                      or guidance counselor

You can make progress safely from the                                comfort of home

Best of all, you can make a real difference for generations to come!

My name is Jennifer and I’ve been in your shoes.

When I lost my husband from a heart attack in 2012, my daughters were six and eight years old. Even though I was a life coach at the time, I didn’t have skills specific to helping children with grief. This isn’t something taught in school. I was so tied up in trying to heal my own grief that I couldn’t effectively help them too.

When they were crying, I would immediately ask them what was wrong. I know now that this was a huge mistake. There’s nothing “wrong” with showing emotions. During times of grief, sadness and crying are emotions that we show a lot of.

I made a lot of mistakes like these. There simply weren’t enough resources on how to effectively help children through grief. That’s why I developed a unique program to fill that void.

Today, I’m an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Specialist who can help you work through a child's grief, regardless of how it was caused.

Let’s be honest:

You don’t have to help the children in your care. It’s a whole lot easier to wait for them to “figure it out.”

Is this what you’re doing?

Waiting for them to magically get better

Letting them use video games or food as an                       escape

Hoping someone else will tell you what to do

But here is the truth — and I say this with love…

Children don’t deserve to suffer!

They have every right to complete their grief and live with joy again.

Even though you may feel completely isolated in what you’re going through, you’re definitely not the only adult in this position.

I continue to hear from caregivers just like you. Moms and dads, grandparents, teachers and guidance counsellors who are trying to help children recover from many types of loss. Some of these adults are also juggling the difficult task of trying to heal their own grief at the same time. Everyone has one common issue though: they don’t know where to turn when it comes to the delicate task of helping children to cope.

They’re stuck.

And if they’re stuck, you can only imagine how lost the children in their care must feel.

You can help them to put a process in place that will help them with grief as they grow.

You can assist them by:

Responding with your heart, not your head

Teaching them strategies they can carry through life

Avoid relying on ineffective learned behaviours

Enabling them to move forward in an emotionally healthy way

Making a positive, lifelong impact

I want to help you find a clear path to respond to children’s pain in an effective way.

Are you ready to help grieving children enjoy life again?
If you’re not quite ready yet, that’s okay! You may not be in the right headspace. The grief and loss that you’re feeling might be too new, too fresh.

If you’re ready to Help Your Children Grow From Grief, then this program is definitely for you if:

  • You feel your level of caregiving is getting judged by people around you
  • You’ve done the best you can with traditional grief coping methods
  • You feel alone in this journey
  • You want to help children control their emotions
  • You want them to enjoy their childhood
  • You’re ready to help children make changes

You may be wondering if it’s possible for children to recover from grief when they’re so young and impressionable?

The short answer is: YES!

The beliefs we all learn growing up often hinder our ability to heal. Many of the traditional methods of overcoming grief don’t get to the root of the problem. Unfortunately, as caregivers, we continue to pass these same unhelpful beliefs onto children. And, they’re not helping!

I have witnessed many clients who have made significant positive changes in helping children to respond to grief after doing this work. If you participate in all the sessions and do the work, and you aren’t satisfied with your experience, then I will give you your money back.

You can help children enjoy their childhood again.

"Jennifer is a wonderful coach who uses a professional, yet warm and intuitive approach.

I always felt comfortable in sharing with her and I was always honored and amazed at her deep listening skills. She helped tie the many pieces of our conversations together and always knew the right time to ask the tough question that needed to be asked.

I highly recommend her as a coach - especially in navigating through a big life change/decision as I was."

Heather P.D. SAYS...

"I always feel empowered to be better after my sessions with Jennifer.

She has a way of making me feel I can accomplish great things by accentuating and celebrating my positive attributes and accomplishments.

She has fresh and interesting ways to bring positive change to my family life. I sincerely appreciate her presence in my life right now."

Widowed Mom from UK says...

"I was very excited to have been given the opportunity to have Jennifer work with me! As a result of us working together, it has helped me put my personal life goals more into perspective.

I am able to have another person really point out what is I want, I need, and what I am looking for. I like many things about working with Jennifer. I like how she really let me open up about what’s going on in my life with my goals, finances, personal affairs, etc...

I appreciated her honesty and feedback she gave me and the structure that came with it. I am now able to really reevaluate what my plans are at this time in my life.

Three other major benefits I have found from working with Jennifer are my ability to organize my goals in a better way, my motivation and confidence have increased, and I am now more focused on what it is I truly want out of my life! I would definitely recommend Jennifer as a life coach to others. I feel her professionalism can only help others move forward with their ambitions, goals, and lifelong dreams.

I am very grateful to have had the opportunity and time to work with Jennifer. She is defiantly an amazing, professional and charismatic woman. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for all of the help and encouragement she has brought fourth; into my life."

Jo H. says…

“I found my session with Jennifer really helpful and comforting. She knew exactly where I was coming from and gave me an immediate feeling of hope for the future.

Talking to Jennifer, knowing she had been through what I had been through helped me look at where I am and more importantly where I want to be…..

I will admit I was going to cancel last minute but didn’t and I am soooo glad I didn’t. I can’t wait for my next session and can’t thank Jennifer enough for providing me with the opportunity to  focus on how I can improve my quality of life and start living again.”

Rohanna Law says…

"Jennifer's authenticity as a coach, as a leader and as a human being inspired me to be my authentic self and to really bring it.

To be vulnerable, honest and to also get my arse in gear! Her genuine curiosity combined with excellent questions provoked, stimulated and challenged me to really think and ultimately enabled me to take action with greater clarity and courage.

Jennifer manages to balance being incredibly kind and understanding whilst also being able to tell you straight and cut through any crap you might be hiding behind.

I can't recommend her highly enough. This is one incredible woman and it was an absolute privilege to be coached by her."

Widowed Mom from UK says...

"I felt stuck in a kind of limbo, a shadow of my former self and living a life `on empty’ as though on a perpetual hamster wheel. Along with her supportive coaching skills and training in grief recovery.

I found new impetus and energy to focus on me and have pride, gratitude and desire again. Although my husband diedsome 10 years ago in a road traffic accident, it is only now, with Jennifer’s help that I am starting to find my essence, vibrancy and love of life and start to feel recovered from the untimely and sudden death of a most amazing husband and father.

I find Jennifer to be an incredibly warm, supportive, empathic and knowledgeable person, mother and life coach. As I reflect on those things in life for which I am grateful, I have to say dear Jennifer that I am so, so very grateful to you for the support you give and work you do. And to paraphrase Buzz Light Year; Here’s `To Thriving and Beyond’.
Much love Joy."

Widow from Victoria BC says...

"Always positive, Jennifer pays close attention to all my words and recalls things I could revise in a different way. Jennifer helped me by helping me to understand I wasn’t leaving my husband to the side, but that I was leaving my pain.

I would highly recommend Jennifer as a coach for this method. Many people would benefit from her guidance...grievers,  divorcees, job terminations, losses...there’s just a whole host of applications!"

Widowed Mom and teacher says...

"You were like a breath of fresh air, putting me in action towards exactly what I need to be doing. I am so grateful for your help.

You are an amazing coach and such an inspirational, incredible mom and human being. Thank you for doing what you do!"
